Finishing my Planning

On Monday this week, 02/27/2023, I decided to reserve that class and today to make two very important aspects of the planning period. A mood board and a script. In my film's opening scene, these two things may seem useless, however, they are not. The mood board can help establish and set the feeling and characteristics the main character, the killer has throughout the opening scene of my movie. Even though I don't have a lot of dialogue in my film, a script is still vital for the planning period since it can help me demonstrate the actions, thoughts, and conversations the characters have throughout the opening scene.

I decided to make one mood board for my film's opening scene, as the only important character in the story is the killer. So below is my mood board for the killer representing some pictures that made me think of her and her color pallet throughout the movie.

As you will notice while reading my script, most of it consists of  "ACTION" as even though there was little dialogue, the actions of the characters a very important later on in the production stage. Like storyboards, scripts are also very helpful to look back upon when beginning to film as they can help the director remember what direction or idea they wanted to portray in each scene.
